The Beacons provide a safe space for people in recovery to connect with other people with lived experience. Individuals whose needs have not been met by current service provision will find an inclusive environment where they can meet other people through a range of different activities, including: We offer a range of activities at The Beacons which we update regularly, including:
- Recovery support groups
- Men & Women’s groups
- 1-1 Recovery focused support
- Signposting and referral to services to meet your needs
- Social activities such as arts and crafts and walking groups.
- SMART , B-First and Group Programmes
- Mental, Emotional and Physical Health Workshops
- Psychological Interventions (1-1 and group)
- Volunteering Programme
- My Support Day provides services for people who have been affected by someone else’s substance use.
- A range of other interventions and support options for people in Recovery
We do have occasional online sessions which you might see on the weekly schedule for each Beacon (with Zoom ID and Passcode).

These activities are a great way to meet likeminded people, share your experiences and learn new skills. You do not need to book to join in, simply come along on the day. We look forward to meeting you!
